Fear

by Graciella   Nov 27, 2006

I have nothing left to lose
For I have nothing else to win
And all of you may scathing laugh
But it is I that laughs at you
And when at last the drips of dew,
That fall from brown circles, end
And there I am alone again
It is not I that misses you

The one I miss
The one I mourn
Is sitting there and looks forlorn
And the only one that doesn't care
Is sat there staring
Never caring
All alone they sit and stare
The one that's staring
The one that's sitting
Is the one that's left there all alone

Overbearing emptiness
Begins to seep inside
And while the others stand and scorn
Refusing to help,
To move, to speak
It is I that stays quite still
Empowered by the emptiness
And why should I fear losing you
When there is nothing else but that.

Why do I fear?
Why do I morn?
Why do feel s deep mistrust
Now that I have been betrayed
I wonder can I trust again?
