Remembering how to Feel

As I lay in bed
Thoughts of you run through my head
All I can think of is you
Even though I don't want to
I know you don't feel the same
Which in my heart causes so much pain
I think of the times we could of had
Been there for eachother good or bad
I see you in the halls going every which way
It hurts me to know you'll never give me the time of day
It breaks my heart to see you with someone new

Yet I'm still confused, lost in dismay
Nobody told me how hard this would be
I feel like I've lost half of me
As I look around my room I'm watched by things that remind me of you
You never told me you loved me once but I somehow knew
I know I need to go my own way
