It's Big and Blue

A big blue box
scratched and stained
worn and weathered
broken and beaten
worth nothing.
Inside of a bigger box
full of drugs and lies
abuse and vomit.
That only walls can keep out.
this bigger box is inside
an even bigger box
with boxes just like it.
Each box inside the biggest box
has something else inside it.
Mine has a big blue box
thats worn and torn
and full of lies and drugs
that only my walls will
keep out.
my sanctuary.
worth nothing alone
but with the bigger box,
worth money.
not much.
Because of where the box
is placed inside
the biggest.
I walk among the boxes
Knowing only mine.
I go into my box,
into the chaos of abuse and vomit
into my imperfection.
I go straight into my blue box
where only my walls keep him out.
where the stains and scratches are my friends.
Worth nothing.
My sanctuary, my home.
my bedroom.
