Just Beyond This Aching Heart

Just Beyond this aching heart
just beyond this fragile need
just beyond the door that is closed
is where we truly see.

Upon the mountain top, we shall arise
to face the morning sun.
and know our tomorrow will be changed
when all the work is done.

Stand still and see the coming of the Lord
see him in that final day
when happiness will abound
and your tears are washed away.

I see your aching heart all mended
and blessing to you untold
as you’ve put away the memories
and the patterns of the old.

So give unto the call,
as he cry your name aloud
Let him have your hurting
and feel him be so proud

To know the love you carry
and your love for him so true
allow him now to bury
all the pain, in faith, you once knew.

Turn your Eyes upon Jesus
look full in his wonderful grace
and the things of this life will grow strangely deem
in the light of his glory and grace.
