Drowning at night

by Indigo Touch   Nov 30, 2006

The kiss of the metal runs deep and divine
Tracing closer to veins to forget the pains mine

The ache claws like spiders legs splitting my skull
As my head cracks against the wall, panic turns dull

The sniff and the sting, let it race through my head
The shadows are dancing, lay back on the bed

Still sinking and spluttering, drowning at night
Now the waters less freezing I don't need to fight

Wow, I really like this! I think you have great talent also. I am almost like you in a way. I am not as bad off as I write I am, but times are really tough on me right now. I just hope I have enough strength to pull myself through to the lighted path at the end of all of my troubles. I hope to see some more of your poems on here! I am looking forward to it!
