Please send the rain

by kiara   Dec 2, 2006

A distant memory
Of the secrets of treachery
A long gone tear
Stabs the heart with a spear
Simple laughter flying through the air
Gives me nothing but a scare
But the memory of you
Makes me wonder if life will ever be true
But at least I know that you left the world with a fake smile
And that you left me crying whilst I scrubbed your blood off the tile
When you left you swore to remember me
And now your distant shadow feels as icy as the sea
Your presence in my world is long gone
i still wait up for your ghostly shadow to arrive home at dawn
Without you I don’t want to laugh
Because you’re my dead second half
Maybe I should drown my self in tears
Maybe I should become a blank page to my fears
Maybe If I scream out loud
You will hear me on your distant cloud
You will feel my pain
And ask god to send the rain
Because when you left I got trapped in a drought
And now just like you did, in life I only want out
