Do you still love me? (Because I still do)

It has been a while,
Since the last time we spoke.
Am I a fool or a coward?,
For hiding myself under this cloak.

And no matter how hard I try,
I can never forget the way things were.
When it was all going smoothly for us,
And then it became a blur.

Is this how it's meant to end?,
Is this how it's meant to be?.
I remembered the day we met,
Under that cherry-blossom tree.

I fell into your deep gazing eyes,
Which happened to be staring back into mine.
The feeling I felt was a once in a lifetime,
And it's a feeling no words can define.

I guess I'm a fool and a coward,
For not knowing how to forgive you.
I know that we all make mistakes,
I just didn't think you could too?

And every night I lay wondering,
Why did you and how ?.
But recently I have realised what I should be asking,
And that is, do you still love me now?.

Because I still do.
