What I found out

by Chemically Corrupted   Dec 2, 2006

I went a different route
One day and I ended up seeing
The things you took. The"loot"

I couldn't quite understand
What you were doing in
A strange part of the land

I saw a bag on your shoulder
And walked away like I saw nothing
But I really did. And then it got colder

I realized what you did
It took me a while, but I finally know,
All the things you did since you were a kid.

I fallowed you again
And figure out you did it with a friend
You were wearing black masks so you would blend

I watched you for the past few weeks
Knowing everything you took
I think you took if for it is what you seek

I approached you about this
Where no one would see
When I spoke one word you ran out in bliss

I wish I could talk to you
And ask you why you rob
If only I could tell you I knew

Then they would stop
You and make you pay
And for you to be taken away by a cop

I'm sorry brother
For turning you in, that is
I told some else too, our mother

She was going to help
But I know she was wrong
She knew nothing of help

I was trying to talk to you
Tell you everything
And tell you that I knew

I saw you get taken away
I am really sorry
I really do wish you would stay

They said it wont be forever
I trust them and so should you
Promise me it wont happen - ever

I love you and I am sorry for turning you in
You deserve for going to jail
Because what you were doing was a sin

How could you steal?
Was taking people's stuff your joy?
How did that make you feel?

You finally understand me
I'm glad that you can see
That I was going through pain you accidentally put on me

As far as the poem goes, very nicely done. Your message is clear.

Personally if this is true then I hope your brother reads this poem.
