Random vampire poem

by Resplendant Rose   Dec 2, 2006

White tears slide gracefully
down from her innocent eyes
all the pain held there
is more than you'd surmised

In your heart you'd known
that this would cause her pain
but fighting against the blood-lust
had driven you insane

Now shes staring sightless
at her blood upon your chin
and you're staring right back
at the fang holes in her skin

You step closer to her
only to watch her back away
then she turns and begins to run
you close your eyes and stay

Falling to the floor
you feel around for the knife
for without her in your heart
you know you have no life

As your last drop of blood
trickles from your vein
she feels a jolt go up her spine
filling her with pain
