I need you here.
I need you near.
But you're so far away.

I love you.
You love me too.
I don't know what else I can say.

To hear your voice.
I would rejoice.
But that won't happen yet.

To see your face.
My heart would race.
On that my heart would bet.

I look up at the stars.
Down here so far.
As I hopefully inquire.

Could you.
Be looking at the same star too.
This thought fuels my hearts burning fire.

They say it won't work.
I'll end up getting hurt.
But I trust you with my heart.

I trust you.
You know I do.
And I know you won't let me fall apart.

I hope.
That I can cope.
With you being away so far.

Miles apart.
You hold my heart.
Like the night sky holds every star.

    Thanks, Just about every love poem I've written is about this one guy and he is really far away. So, if anybody has someone they love that is far away knows exactly what I'm going through.
