Silence

by Falling Again   Dec 4, 2006

She stares tiredly at the paper, wondering what to say.

How to put it into words.

Believing, finally, there is no point,no point at all in writing the letter at all.

She sighs, and begins writing.

She moves swiftly and thoughtfully, making sure to get down every thought and feeling.

She stares at the paper, sighs tiredly and crumples it up.

She sits quietly wondering why these quiet phone calls meen so much to her.

She smiles, remembering its because she was once madly in love with the other line, and now, the quiet is all they have left.
