A Loud Silence

by Grace   Dec 5, 2006

The depth of my ocean slowly swallowed
by the bittersweet after-tastes of love.
Only when I see your face,
beauty smiles in me,
as faith rekindles an ever luminicent candle,
that imbeds itself in my heart.

Sorrow blackens when I see your walking back
rubbing in my face.
Forever causing tears to fall in everyones silence,
but my own.
Your smile stapled in my memory,
someday hoping to find
behind the thousands of photographs kept safely in my mind,
you cry inside too.
