All of Us

by Iola   Dec 5, 2006

Our hearts a treasure that is safely locked.
Until the day we die.
A passage of passion that is forever blocked.
Until we learn to fly.

Our souls a book that's sealed in vain.
Those tears you never get to cry.
A mysterious wonderland that's His to claim.
If you're willing to learn and try.

Our bodies a temple draped in rainbow.
Dull colors that make you shy.
A God given tool drifting in the ocean's flow.
From outside it's an inner lie.

Our spirits a breeze that blow through this life.
For happiness you need to apply.
An invisible destiny that dwells and strive.
Until the day you say goodbye.
