The Royal Court

by Rahl The Layman Lord   Dec 5, 2006

Lets take a trip to the days of old
With Kings and Queens and the guillotine
Lets dress up and play a role
What will we see?
Who shall we be?
The King with his crown, sitting on the throne
Nay I say that is not for me
Maybe the Queen, running her court
No I say again for that is not me
Hmm...Who then I ask, who shall I be
Maybe the stable boy or the blacksmith
NO!
One is too young and the other too old
How about the chamberlain or even the cook
HAHA, A joke would that be
Id eat all the food and ruin my lady's dress
Who then, who shall i be
Some lord or lady
Some farmer, some tradesman, some servant
NO NO NO, none are quite me
But wait, I have it, I have just the right man
Look there he goes, in his bright colored cloths
Jumping and laughing and wiggling his toes
That's it, that is me, look there and see
The juggler of balls and twirler of knives
I have found who I shall be in the days of old
The jester, the clown, the entertainer of all
HAHA...look there I go, I'm in the days of old
And I am none other than the royal buffoon!
