Lonely grace

Lonely grace

I stand alone, but not by choice
I grab a sword and hold it close
I grab a pray and hope for help
I sit and wait for my sanity to return
But night grows over me, over and over
I hang by a rope
I know the truth about my life
I remember my fall, its all I know
I remember all that broke
My heart and my soul
I remember my love for her
It was the strongest this I have ever known
It kept me straight when I was lost
It kept me safe when was afraid
And know she is gone
And now I have nothing at all
All alone with no more hope
No will, no strength
Just me
I miss her so
