Love's broken rules

Love 's broken rules

I loved you true
Even though I am a fool
I love you the most
Even when you deceived me
I believe in love's magic
Even though the show is long over
I don't need love to live
Even though, since your deserted me, I pray for the end

I remember love's truths
Cheating and lying where did you find all the time?
And know I must hate you
Even though I told myself that I would love with no end

Foolish youth dreams
Of love's great antidote
To help with life's great pains
A broken home
Beating and marathons of screaming
Love's was going to be my great escape
Foolish, foolish boy
How can one love someone?
When there always on the run
And how was I to know when love's was at my door

When I broke all of love's rules
