I do not waver, anymore.

by Sotiri   Dec 7, 2006

Frustrated, betrayed, and overall annoyed.
Yes I have been lied to.
Deceit was employed.

It started with a simply friendship,
That quickly got confused.
Twisted by a foolish dimwit,
Who shall never be excused.

Shattered now is my hope,
My last internal pride.
I was hung out on a barded rope,
And burnt out from inside.

How could they toy with my vulnerability?
I only meant the best.
I offered not one threat of security,
And was more caring than the rest.

Though still they orchestrated a double cross,
Generating many a rumour.
Until I was laying confused and lost,
In the echoes of their sick humour.

However, that was before,
And this is now.
I have come back for an encore,
I shall defiantly take my bow.

For their childish games have now strengthened me,
Armed me true and wise.
I do not linger on what couldn't be,
And now completely open my eyes.

Because there is more out there than the most recent,
Better paths to follow.
Which will always be a lot more decent,
And not bring you down in sorrow.
