Spiritual Feelings

Could you imagine dying in pain
Hung up and your blood drain
Nails hammered through your hands
Holding on for as long as you can
Nails hammered into your feet
Wanting to close your eyes...wanting to sleep
Your arms stretched out as far as they would go
Nailed to a cross for the whole world to know
To go through life showing nothing but love
Only to get tortured but still never give up
For you know of love, wisdom, and prayer
And you know no matter what...you'll always be there
So when you let out your last breath
You know that you just defeated death.
