Incessant Masquerade

by miss melancholy   Dec 7, 2006

I'm twirling in a dancing masquerade,
I change my masks a lot.
Behind them im constantly hiding,
In this charade i just cant seem to stop.

These feelings want to come out of me,
But i dont let them come out,
I just put another mask over my face,
A smiling cover, fake, but stout.

This game has become a part of me,
i cant stop, this dance will never end.
But sometime, my true face will revealed,
And the whole world will come to see.

Until then, my masks will keep changing,
And no one will know my true face.
Although my masks are changing slower now,
Not much longer can i keep up the pace.

That's pretty good. I like it. I hate that "Letting Go" one I did, I wrote it in 6th grade though, so you can't blame me to much :)
