Inside the cover.

by Katrina   Dec 9, 2006

I try so hard for people to like me.
I hate the way i look
I wish that they could only see.
That my cover is not my book.

I'm shy and can't be myself.
When others are around.
So i put myself back on the shelf.
And hope never to be found.

I realize now looks don't matter.
Its the book inside that counts.
You can be skinny or you can be fatter.
People come in different amounts.
