Falling Rain

by Flying Phoenix   Dec 10, 2006

The tiny drops of falling rain
Splash against my skin
Whilst I sit and wait for the time to come
The water travels across my face
Like a gentle waterfall
And I wait

Because here in the falling rain
That cascades so freely
Hiding my pain
In the lonely dark
Whilst I whisper his name

Alone all I can do
Is stand here and wait
Lie here in the falling rain
Watching the seconds pass by
And the tumbling drops
Disguise my tears as I cry

I am numb
Screaming out for you
The only thing I can do
Is cry

Hear me, hear my plea
I sorry for the pain
Here in the falling rain
Please

Please I beg and cry

Please forgive me
