Bubbles of Life

by Lost Soul 691   Dec 11, 2006

I slipped into the warmth
letting the steam surround me
Longing for its touch
to be you

The water edged higher
yet I laid so still
feeling the heat
seep inside

My eyes slowly closed
laden with visions
of days gone by
with you

The scent from the oils
drifted to my nostrils
awakening my mind
in a rush

I felt for the cloth
soaked with the waters
yet, thick and strong
like you

Where has the time gone
and what can we show
as the wasted moments
slide by

I brought cloth to toe
inching higher, til it closed
Bodily bubbles mix with suds
without you
