Now she's gone

by Escoffier   Dec 11, 2006

I stare and pray and think of the ways I have fail in my life
I am lone and scared
I have been beaten with hate though and though
I am still standing, it's true
Just barely thou
I live with the lost of my love and my soul
Gave it away too many times
Now I have nothing left inside
As I walk down life lonely road
I sit and pray and dream someday, I will live with no pain
But that day never comes
So I just keep walking along
I miss loving you so
I have never been happier in all my life
Now she's gone
I can't replace
I gave my heart strict instructions
To love her till the end of time and beyond
My heart is stubborn and won't forget my words
It's still waiting for her to return
My mind is tired of discussing the truth
When my heart won't believe the news
So the fight goes on
My heart one my mind none
Me I am caught in the middle
Tried of being pulled apart
So in the end I lose again
Lonely and tied to a tree
I sit and stare and remember my dreams
I remember loving you
Was the best thing, I have ever done
Miss you more then I could ever write about
So my love take-care I will think of you
As life slowly takes everything away
I kneel and pray one more time
I ask god to watch over you
Because that was my promise to you
