Poet's Last Words

by XSugarSexSuicideX   Dec 12, 2006

Words and insults shower down,
Over me, over my head,
And all that I can think about,
Is how it will feel to be dead,
For my death will be different
From everybody else,
While they will live their whole lives through
I'll be hanging over head,
I can't take this frenzy anymore
I can no longer live my life,
The world can go to Hell
I'll no longer have to strive,
For excellence or beauty,
For freedom, fame, or love
Maybe I'll look up from Hell,
Maybe down from Heaven above,
One thing is for certain, though,
Friends, I love you, hold you dear,
I am killing myself tonight,
But live your lives, and never fear,
I suppose I could live on,
Not in body, but in mind,
Live happily in the afterlife,
And friends, I think that you will find,
I'll love you all forever,
My memories in your hearts,
While my death will hurt enough,
We never will have to truly part,
Because I'll live on through my words
The thoughts that came out of my head
I can't stand the world any more
So remember me when I am dead.
