Depression's Repression

by Gasttlee   Dec 13, 2006

Depression is sad
far from glad.

It's a stressful burden
leaving you uncertain.

You experience a pain
such as suffering in vain
or standing out in the rain
causing lots of strain.

It's a great sorrow
as no tomorrow.

It's unhappy
but no way sappy.

Your heart aches
as burnt steaks.

You drown in a pool
that's anything but cool.

You feel dead
with not enough said.

You sense doom
as you fall in gloom.

It's love lost
as hearts are tossed.

You feel alone
as a dead bone.

You're no fake,
but your mind's at stake
as a flattened cake.

Don't let depression break your heart
for there are ways you can make it part.

This poem was brilliantly writen! The last stanza:

How do I know this to be true?
Because everyday this is what I go through.

Really added emotion to this poem. Your flow was great, and overall, I loved this poem ^_^

    Keep it up, 5/5

    With all due respect,
