A love that cannot be
I cannot let it be known
She brings out the best in me
Still it cannot be shown

Her absence leaves me empty
Loneliness in Her place
My own insecurities haunt me
Drowning in memories of Her face

I dream only of Her
And every waking moment is bliss
Yet I'm nothing to Her
I've never felt pain like this

When She's with others
I'm nothing but empty space
I'm there when there's no one else
To Her I'm just another face

She's there if I'm troubled
Looking lost or a little down
As soon as I assure Her I'm fine
She's gone, nowhere to be found

Love

It's a new pain for me
An emotion I can only hide
It's killing me, day by day
It's the slowest form of suicide

    Wow...
This was excellent...my favourite part was the last stanza, I thought that was really powerful.
The flow was perfect and the wording was a joy to read.
