She Met Her Death

|She Met Her Death|

She sits in her bath
Run long ago, the water has gone cold
She looks her body up and down
At cuts and scars new and old
She shudders in disgust
To her stopping this is a must
Her thoughts turn to her past friends
The ones she's loved
And the ones she's lost
She'd give anything to have them again
No matter what the cost
Suddenly she must do this
Suddenly her life must end
She's tired of fighting
And tired of the pain
To her life is empty
With nothing for her to gain
She leans out of her bath
And takes up her blade
Not pausing for a second
It slices through her veins
She dropped the razor in the water
In shock and surprise
A mixture of fear and relief
Clouded her once beautiful eyes
It hurts to see, she's satisfied at last
She lays her pale head to rest
And in that cold, crimson water
She met her lonely death
