I Won't forget

by Poemgirl   Dec 16, 2006

I lie in my bed at night and think,
that you will remember me,
I sometimes cry untill my eyelids close,
And dream.

I wake up to sunlight
for a moment I forget.
Then a cloud passes by,
And I realize this is finally it.

I carry on throughout the day,
felling no joy but some pain.
I loningly gaze upon your faces,
And share a smile and an embrace.

This day is drawing to an end,
And I still think of you.
I try to rlax, yet in my mind,
I wonder what to do.

Now it's almost over as I leave ,
With lots of love in the air.
So if you ever think of me,
Remember I'll miss you but never forget you.

    Now let me be honest.

There are hundreds, if not thousands of poems like this on P & Q alone. Do you know what they all have in common? Lack of structure. Your poem lacks the structure it needs to affect your audience in a specific way.

You will receive many comments stating how they can relate. That is because the poem is too vague, which makes it easier to relate because there is no specificity to it.

    Listen to me very carefully.

This poem is yours. So make it yours.
