A Girl

by Kirstie Bolling   Dec 17, 2006

A Girl
Her faith desingrates and her world is closing in
Wondering what to expect next, never able to win

Trying to remain strong but being ripped of all pride
Shaking and scared for her life she attempted to hide

Losing all grip yet trying to hold on
She longed for a safe place somewhere to call home

Hiding from her fears simply tucking them away
It couldnâ??t work much longer maybe not even a day

In society she was nothing, but only a lonely face
No one could see past her and their time they didnâ??t waste

Scared and alone she had no where to turn
Seeing fire in her eyes her soul began to burn

A girl filled with pain barely sustaining faith, softly begins to cry
She canâ??t understand anything and begins to wonder why

A girlsâ?? desingrates and her world is closing in
She finally gives up and puts the pain to a end
