For the love of a father

by Landi Cordier   Dec 18, 2006

You never made a sacrifice
you never even tried
you missed my last 5 birthdays
and even before that you only visited once
after seeing me for the third time
you told me I'm a rebel,
but how the hell can you say that
you clearly don't know me at all!

where were you on Christmas day?
even new year's would have worked
for all i craved for, for years
was the love of a father
who didn't care

This is sad. Pouring with emotion. Very heartfelt and I am sure many can relate.
