These Words Are Mine

by Carisa   Dec 18, 2006

You've told me that you love me and regret every word that you said.
But I'm not sure if love is strong enough to erase the damage you have spread.

Spread over my life like a blanket of shadows and darkness.
Cut in so deep that I even longed to feel your corrupted kiss.

Did you know that you were my world; you were all that mattered?
Do you know that you still are, even though everything else is broken and shattered.

These words that I write are just words and nothing else.
They can't bring you back, and they can never describe how I felt.

Now I am drowning in a pool of ever-growing darkness.
And because I love you, I try to embrace it.

The solution would be for you to go, find some hole in the ground, and stay there away from everyone. But that's not what you're supposed to do. You have to go and find the one that can endure who you are. There IS someone. It just wasn't me. It's all good.

  • I've come full circle..
I now think I vaguely understand the pain that i cause others, all i have to do is find the solution.

Exactly what you did. I said that I am done being mad at you. I just want you to understand.

  • You don't know what it takes to contain this monster..
you nor no one have any idea... see, you cant love me, till you love what is inside of me, you were afraid of it, and left.. so i had to find her.. You were gone for five months.. did you not expect me to find someone else? What in the hell was I supposed to do ?
