No Regret!

by Sam   Dec 19, 2006

I set in my chair
Thinking about my life.
All those years
I was your wife.

Our love was new
In eighty-seven,
You helped me get through it,
when dad went to heaven

We were so excited
August of eighty-eight.
We had our first daughter,
We knew it was fate!

I almost died
In ninety-three
You sat by my side
And told God your plea

Follow me there
To ninety-six,
Another little angel,
to put in our mix.

Now I'm remembering
Two thousand four
This was the year
Mom knocked on heaven's door.

Here we are
two thousand six,
again we find us
in another fix.

After everything
We've been through,
we'll climb that mountain
And beat it too.

There is one thing
That I know to be true
It's the simple fact
That I truly love you!
