I dreamt of you last night

by Landi Cordier   Dec 19, 2006

I dreamt of you last night
With tears running down my side,
Your eyes so blue,
Your hair so blonde

Your wife not there,
All of them gone,

Dead,
I killed them,
I had to - for the sake of my own heart,

We had a life you know,
But then it fell apart -

You married that..
That.. thing.
On her finger you put a pretty ring

She cried
She begged,
She kicked
And screamed

My heart stone cold,
Her face grew old,
With Worry and fear.

I did it all for you my dear.

But then I woke up -
And I admit that I'm sad,
I know,
Because I dreamt bout you last night

*It sounds like a nightmare Stephen King would write about or make a movie out of LOL. Flow and rhyme scheme need some work but you still did a nice job!
