Fallen Angel

by DemonSorrow   Dec 20, 2006

If only they could read his mind and taste the murder on his tongue. The acidic DNA traveling through the bloodstream attacking every nerve in the body. Murder is not an idea, it's not a plan, it's a way of life, it is the embodiment of evil
Hazes of death and pain flood his mind and surround him. He feels as if he is losing his grip on reality. He sees it the black hole of nothingness that has swallowed his life for the past few months.
His life was once was once high, it seemed like nothing could touch him as his angelic wings took him higher and higher. This angels name was Nicholas. His face even surpassing the glee that comes from his name passing through ones lips.
Nicholas had the eyes that could rape your soul. Seeing and loving you for your every thought. He knew all that you could see and knew all that you could feel, yet with every drop of intellect that was mixed in his mind he became jealous. Nicholas, better known as Nick, was immortal and incapable of loving. Sure he could watch Earth from his lofty cloud and cry tears of black pain to the world. Sympathy was one thing this angel could never do. Pain had never entered his body and his soul has never cried out for salvation. His flesh has never bled nor has his bones ever been crushed. All fights were won without a bruise or a scratch among his cheek.
Oh how the epitome of beauty, his chiseled jaw line was only met his soft ember skin which surrounded his shiny blue eyes. The lips of cherry red and the teeth that was as straight and white as a dove in flight.

Lying on his cloud that he called home, day after day as the rain fell beneath him. Golden locks of hair blowing in the wind. Some might find this heaven though he found it to be hell.
Nick despised being an angel; he would give anything to be a human. He wanted love and to be loved, he wanted music and joy. He had happiness, but it was just his disposition. Growing very tired of being alone he made a plea with Jehova.
Oh, Jehova, creator of the Earth, moon and stars, hear my voice and grant me my true desire. I wish to be human. I wish to feel as they do, to do as they do??
Jehova hearing this smirked a little. As if knowing what his little friend wanted already. â??I will let you live among the humans. I will grant you your wish. There will be challenges down there you will have to face and I hope you will call on my name. I promised to always be there??
Nick smiled as he waited to go down with his people when a pain had struck him, deep within him. His wings were ripped from his back and tossed lifeless to each side. Nick closed his eyes in pain as he reached behind him and felt only the blood running down his back. He lifted one of his pure white feathers, for the first time a tear can down his cheek
Awaking the next morning in a dark alley way, cold and alone. All he had was the blood stained clothes on his back. Dread hit him like a brick he remembered his wish and what Jehova had done for him. He grinned,I'm human, I am alive!?? As rising to his feet he cried in pain and reached back for his wings. They were taken from him, only pain remained.
Slowly he made his way out of the alley, stumbling, for gravity is new to this fallen angel. Grasping the wall several times to steady himself he made his way to the light. Squinting at first and shielding his eyes from the bright illuminate in the sky, he looked up and saw his cloud he had watched so carefully down from.
