My Family

by Bryan Raff   Dec 20, 2006

Growin' up was always a struggle
Livin' life without a motive there
Can't imagine the tasks I had to juggle
Just to get by was my votive prayer

Early hopes of Santa were always shot down
My little brother, he was such a clown
My mother, that's another story all in all
She'd do anything to stop my fall

My father, the stern type, not one to mess
Very kind though, like those out of the past
He never was easy to impress
If you did, though, you'd get a laugh that'd last

But, through the good times, and through the bad
No one can compare with experiences I've had.
