The Flowers(rewriten)

by Brittany C   Dec 22, 2006

Growing in warm rays of the sun.
Swaying in a gentle breeze,
of sweet scented air from the east.
The flowers sweet sent floating up
with that of the sent from the east.
Making the world smell just a little
sweeter then it had ever before.

Growing taller every day, brightening up this gloomy
world, with there radiant colors,
from yellows to purples and
every where in between.
But then the seasons change,
and the flowers began to welt.
Then they die only to be reborn
the next spring, when they
brighten up the world once more.

I loved this poem, as well. It reminded me of a teenage girl who was once the most amazing girl, and then got depressed or whatever.. and realized what she was missing out on, and that she needed to be happy to actually live, eh. BUT, it's a nature poem. Lol. That's why I love nature poems, they have MANY mulitple meanings, without the writer even knowing. keep it up. :D
