Dream Weaver

by DJ   Dec 23, 2006

Spinning dreams akin the spider
skillfully weaving a home
the dead of night is my playground
I weave it into my own

Surreal dreams and fantasies
I construct and construe before you
these are my fields of expertise
immersing you like a whirlpool

deeper and deeper we descend
to a place that knows no bounds
cascading from star to star
until our feet coincide with the ground

nothing but vacant blackness
for as far as the eye can see
but within the mind of the creator
lies the soul which harbors the seed

Entwined inside yourself
and those who dare to dream
is infinite possibility
far beyond belief

this divine abode is yours
enigma was the mother
her offspring are dreams that soar with eagles
parallel to none other

planting seeds inside the core
of all that is man kind
amid the day symptoms fall from grace
of being raised by father time

I am but a servant
of what they sought to make
a world free from jealousy
animosity and hate

Nothing but a messenger
with a telegram laced in truth
I can show you the door
but I can't walk through it for you

take a look around you
tell me what you see
steal the angels from the heavens
drown them in the sea

watch a flower blossom
then wither away and die
from a new born's beginning
to the twinkle in an old mans eye

this world is yours to mold
if you possess courage enough to dream
colliding with fear and doubt head on
in blissful anarchy

I am your friend and foe
a trustworthy deceiver
transforming lucid incubus into reality
the infamous dream weaver

(I wrote this last year, thought I'd re submit it... hope you enjoy)
