Try To Forget

by Christina McDowell   Dec 24, 2006

I wish I could erase
The memory of your face
To lose myself and forget
That we were ever together or ever met

That you broke my heart
And made me fall apart
To forget all the pain
And cries in the rain

To possibly love again
Or to be happy and smile again
To get rid of all sound
And stop being so down

To heal
To feel
To move on
And never realize or know that you
were ever gone

To not remember my painful death
To breathe every single breath
To forget about every worry
To not need to ever say sorry

To erase all the pains of love
To never actually know what is love
To never cry
Or need to die

To not need to distance myself
Or remember being alone
Crying all by myself
Waiting by the phone

To just forget about us
And run from all the fuss
All that is left is a gap...

How sad this is. Love can be wonderful.......Yet it can also be one of the most painful things we ever go through. Good job! Take Care Cindy
