Sweet death

by Tara   Dec 24, 2006

Breathing in this smoke of death
thinking it relieves the stress
she pops another pill to block out the pain
and downs another shot to forget again
a little dizzy, she trips and falls
but no one hears her pointless calls
her heart is broken into a million pieces
the taste of sweet death is at her tongue
but how can she die when she\'s so young
she grabs the knife and stammers to her feet
because now her sorrows she can defeat
