Here in Your Arms

Here In Your Arms

Reflection shattered,
Sliced by a scattered mirror
Screams, bruises, forgotten promises
All shown in her sulfur aura

Her mind, torn
Thread with a thousand knives
Hate, confusion, misread feelings
All confounded by that of her family

Within this mirror she sees a girl
With no love, only anger, and frustration
Her beauty, has been sliced by a needle
And, with every thread, she is pulled apart

His arms, her castle
Embrace her delicate figure
kind, sweet, finally protected
piecing the shattered mirror together

His eyes, calm
Catch her beauty within
Charming, sensitive, always understanding
Showing her, the gorgeous figure she is

Within her castle, she holds her smile
No more anger, only love and happiness
He is her castle, her protector
And within his arms, she is who she wants to be
