Guardian Angel

When you're feeling lonely and depressed
I see that you're in trouble, I feel your pain
But I hover up here within the clouds
And watch you suffer, I see you strain

I see you realize the circumstances
I hear you sigh, as your heart weighs you down
I see your thought as you balance the chances
And I watch your face, creased with that frown

I watch you watch them together, in vain
I see your misery as you look away
I watch you smile, so innocently you feign
And within your eyes the tears do stay

The memories he's left, only make you cry
As you see he has moved on so swift
Yet still seeing his face makes you want to die
And you blame your self for loosing your gift

His every action is abuse, it's breaking you apart
Yet you still consider him your one and only
Your friends tell you to at least make a start
Yet you still consider yourself lonely

You peer into your mirror and gaze into your face
Into eternity, comparing with his girl
Tears staining the cheeks and leaving a lace
I say you are as beautiful as a pearl

You may feel broken, but you're blessed
I see that you're in trouble, I feel your pain
But I hover up here watch you pass your test
Though I watch you suffer, I see you strain

You may believe he was the one for you
But the one you love you never lose
After all you've got to live it through
There's not much from which you can choose

They say one day your angel will arrive
He'll glide down to you, from up above
I've been watching you, strive and then thrive
I am your guardian angel, my love
