Another Woman

by Christina McDowell   Dec 25, 2006

There's another woman in your life
But you tell me you want me to be your wife
I love you so much
I long for your touch

I need to let go
And not care so
So much that can hurt me
So much that can kill me

You don't mean what you say
I'll be dying soon anyway
Break my heart again
All over, again and again

Killing me inside
Take away my dream of being your bride
You tell me not to call you anymore
Are you going to walk out the door?

What are you hiding?
Why can't you come out confiding?
I don't want to be in the way
I don't want to wake up in the light of day

Stop hurting me
And let me go free...
