A Tale of Friendship

by Milla   Dec 26, 2006

As I walk through this dusty road
There are so many tales that have been told.
One of them speaks of a girl
A girl who walks the same road trying to find what she's looking for.
One day the boy and the girl crossed paths
The girl was timid and shy; the guy kept asking himself why.
As the two of them glared at each other
The girl began to wonder
Would this guy like me?
The guy stared at the girl and this what he saw
Her eyes pools of water as if she found everlasting love
Her hair blowing in the wind like flowers in an empty field
Her mouth ready to release the love she's kept for so long.
The girl and the guy started to get along
All the drama they faced was gone
The girl thought nothing could go wrong.
The guy didn't feel the same
His past was the one to blame
He didn't feel the love the girl felt and he knew it was a shame.
This girl was in love, she felt a connection
The guy looks in a mirror seeing a reflection.
A reflection of his past, a great power
A power so great it took him hours and hours and hours
To realize that his past was just the past
And the future was now.
The girl didn't understand
She was so confused she ran
She thought she had found that special guy
A guy that would listen to her cry.
As the girl cried the guy returned to her side
The girl turned away feeling neglected
The guy sat by her side like eh was rejected.
Then they began to talk
They stood up and began to walk
Down that dusty little road
A tale of a friendship was told.

((I didnt write this. One of my best friends did.Its about me & him. I thought it was really good. so hope ya like.))
