I TOLD YOU WHY

by ALLEN CEM   Dec 30, 2006

THERE IS SOMETHING I HAVE TO TELL YOU

MY SECRET IS DEEP

I MIGHT LOOK BRAVE ON THE OUTSIDE

BUT INSIDE I WEEP

TEARS OF LOVE, JOY AND PAIN MIXED ALL IN ONE

THESE FEELING'S INSIDE BURN HOTTER THEN THE SUN

THESE FLAMES I CAN NOT STOP

BUCKETS OF WATER ONLY FEEL LIKE A DROP

A WORLD OF CONFUSION IS WHAT I'M IN

THE ONLY THING I HAVE ACHIEVED IS LOSING

SO I GAVE UP TRYING TO WIN

I HAVE NO DIRECTION

DON'T KNOW WHAT TO DO

TO THE WORLD I MIGHT SEEM NORMAL

MY TRUE COLORS ARE BLUE

I CAN NOT HIDE THESE FEELINGS ANY LONGER

AND ALTHOUGH I AM NOT A QUITTER

I'M FED UP WITH THE MISERY WHICH MAKES ME SO BITTER

LIFE USED TO BE SO SWEET ONLY SMILES

NOW THE LAST TIME I LAUGHED SEEMS LIKE A HUNDRED MILES

I CAME TO A DEAD END I HAVE NO WHERE TO GO

I TRIED MY HARDEST TO TAKE THINGS SLOW

BUT EVEN MY BEST WASN'T GOOD ENOUGH

I MIGHT AS WELL HAVE LIVED MY LIFE HANDS CUFFED

I WAS BORN ALONE

AND ALONE I SHALL DIE

PLEASE DON'T ASK ANY QUESTIONS

I TOLD YOU WHY.....
