Within my heart lies a paradise

by the pale queen of the silent night   Jan 1, 2007

Withing my heart lies a paradise
in it lives a little fairy, a poet, and a wise man

for one dark night
came this little fairy and with him he brought a gift
a light that still burns even when it no longer wishes to be lit
he brought a gift of comfort to sooth my heart
so in return I places this fairy withing my heart

when all word failed and affection didn't reach
i found my self in the words of a poet
with each word I feel in love and to every word i placed an oath

to love no other and hold affection against no one but he

between this poet and I lies a long distance
but no distance can create what is between us
or any word can portray what
two mind fails to perceive

he denies his love and believes not in his heart
and holds no trust in my affection
just as freely I gave my heart to him
he put his in the hand of another
now this poet shares not my love but the love of another maiden and with
her lies a paradise
where their heart shall soon become one

to this poet I gave all I had got
and that was my heart
I do not desire to swell on what I can not call thy own
but to go o and keep what I have gained.

when I was lost in my own thoughts
and lost trust in life
came a wise man and knocked on the door of my consciousness
and opened the door to the world of knowledge and love
he thought me allot about the heart and within the heart lies every secret

he was a man of Honor and friendship
a gentleman of intelligence and knowledge
who was bent by life's hardship

he was wise, but to his own wounds he couldn't find a cure
he was broken in the heart and just like me lost in finding life's meaning.

simple and caring was this man
yet he had been the toy of life's injustice
and friendship's deception
he was poor in the heart but strong in the mind and fair in appearance.

he was a true lover who lost his own joy
in giving others a cause to smile

this man was divine
he was a fairy from an unknown palace, a poet from a mystery land, and a wise man, belonging to no one but his own lost thoughts
so with this fairy, poet and wise men I feel in love and lost what I rightly possessed as thy own

he took my heart and in return gave me a dish of grieve
and an eye filled with tears.

he places the word "lier" upon me when once he didn't even know what it meant
he claims himself a true lover
when in every word he proved himself wrong
in his eyes I could read all those unspoken word
and the misdeeds he had done.

"I lied because I knew no better."
ad your eagerness in finding a match for me.
I forgive you because
from knowing you I once again learned how to live, love and believe.

because I am your angel and in you I have become a part
so I place you in the care of God and I shall be nothing to you but a friend
so you and I must not be enemy
because in my heart lies a paradise
where you live
and I live to give your very dark nights a light and your heart a cause to hold on...

*dedicated to my little fairy...never fear deception from thee or absence of thoughts..because u live in my thoughts,,,,*
