Shut up, and sleep with me

by Landi Cordier   Jan 1, 2007

Close your eyes,
forget your pain,
for just this one second
in your over paced day,
let me be your gain.

be quiet,
lay still,
let me embrace you.
allow me to hold you.

close your eyes for just one minute,
trust me with your soul,
give me your hand for just a second,
allow the passion deep within, to grow

don't think about your mother,
I already know,
what she won't say!
but for just this one second
in your over paced day,
let me be your gain.

just shut up...
and sleep with me.
forget, for just one second,
what the rest of the world might say.

    Very interesting. The way I figure it, the reader can see it different ways. I see it as just an innocent nap, but a warm, needed one. And that the world may see it a different way, but you just want peace. Pretty cool. I liked it alot.
