A Frozen Heart (Untouched).

by Unrequited   Jan 2, 2007

While you sit there
painting pretty pictures,
i am here alone
sitting among the embers of a fire
long burnt away.

you slit the throat.
heartstrings now dissolve.
you break the bones
of the innocent who loved you
and hope melts into snow.

thank you for the knife,
death becomes me.
swollen in a body bag
made for worthless kings
spyders collaborate to consume my flesh
a frozen heart lies within
eternally untouched.

the bleeding,
spinning in my head.
creatures pick the scabs
as you carry out your merciless deed
throwing my life away.

the spinning in my head;
the bleeding inside my box
as love leaves me alone.

my embers have grown cold.
