The Vengeful

by Flying Phoenix   Jan 5, 2007

The hallowed arch seeped dark
From the shadows
Where whispers lurk
Here inside the damp and murk
The vengeful had their way

Trapped souls and dying hearts
Reap the harvest
Upon the dark
And there at the break of dawn
The vengeful had their way

Threatening screams of hell afire
Lit the halls
Shattered minds
As the vengeful had their way

The vengeful in the mist did creep
Targeting the worried and the weak
Till their plan was broke upon
Fragile lives damaged in song

Love brought through and conquered all
Take my hand; you wont stumble or fall

I love you

Should this be in love? no, i supose not, it is very dark. interseting use of repition, and a powerful last line. shame its about love, id rather it were about death of blood or something elsea little more morbid, i may have to write a morbid poem to make up for it.... anyway! i promise to stop writing pointless comments....ok so thats a lie, but i love you all the same.
