A Life Not Worth Living

Is life really worth living
when people run around
alwyays taking but never giving
only thinking of themselves

I try to get them to stop
they are to busy for anyone
they can't take the time to drop
and look at the people around them

The people who rush through life
so worried about themselves and work
they don't even have time for a wife
or anyone else in their family

Those people who never quit rushing
find themselves old and decrepit
and when I ask, can tell me nothing
of what they enjoyed in their lives
