Another Young Life

by AliveAndEmpty   Jan 8, 2007

Another young life
Ripped from this earth
Scarring out hearts
Shredding our soul

Another young life
Pulled from our fingertips
Cut too short
The end too near

Another young life
Taken to tear apart families
To break another mother's heart
And to kill the soul of friends

Another young life
Another boy's life cut short
At the age of 17
A life short lived

Another young life
In a year where so much has happened
A young boy who brought light
Is now needed to brighten the day again

Another young life
Grieving will continue
The stories will be told
The laughs passed on

Another young life
Another young soul
Another mother grieving
Another school in silence

Another young life

Written in remembrance of Buddy Zeller, a senior at Jackson-Milton High School, who passed away in his sleep. We miss him so much. He was a great person who didn't deserve to be taken from us.
